Cat's Name - Scorn
Gender - Female
Clan - Nomad
Rank - Warrior
Age - 15 Moons
Description
Eyes
Scorn has beautiful forest green eyes. They are slanted and often narrowed, but when they are fully open, they are a sight to behold. The green is the same color as the trees right before they lose their leaves. It's a rather dark, mysterious color. Scorn's eyes have golden flecks in them, making them even more beautiful. Scorn's night vision is also very impressive. Her eyes are larger than most cats', and they are also very rare.
Ears
Scorn's ears are small and rounded. They have black tips, with tufts of fur sticking out the tops, rather like a lynx's ears would. She doesn't have the best sense of hearing, but what she lacks in that subject she makes up for in others. The insides of her ears are soft and pink.
Nose
Scorn has a perfect, little nose, just like a teddy bear's. It is small and triangular, with pink leather and some black trim. Her nostrils are smaller than usual, making her sense of smell weaker than she'd like, but she knows it's cute, and likes it that way.
Face
Scorn's whole head is decently sized. It is triangular, with high jawbones and fine features. Her eyes are perfectly spaced apart, and the green color makes them the first thing you notice when you look at her. Her nose sits smack center. Scorn doesn't like its position at all. She thinks its makes her look strange. At the sides of her head there is a fringe of fine fur the color of honey. Her small ears sit right upon the top of her head, rounding off the whole innocent look nicely.
Body and Fur
Scorn is a slender cat. She has thin bones and willowy limbs that help her slip through territories unnoticed. But do not underestimate the sweet and delicate appearance. Scorn can be dangerous if she wants to. Her legs are wrapped with muscles, and she can throw a powerful thrust or blow to any sized cat. Scorn's claws are long and razor sharp. They cut easily through skin and flesh.
Scorn's fur is mottled and pretty. Creamy spots of caramel, dark patches of mahogany, and random flecks of black, white, and gray cover her body. The fur is spiky yet attractive, and Scorn grooms it regularly. Scorn's chest and paws are white. Her tail fades to black at the very tip.
Scorn's fur is often heather scented. It has faint touches of rosemary and vanilla, though.
Personality
Alone
Scorn isn't usually alone. She likes being surrounded by others, preferably who compliment her. But when she is alone, Scorn finds herself thinking deep thoughts and flooded with emotions. She doesn't normally confess in other cats, and so she tries to talk to herself whenever she feels lonely.
Around Others
Scorn is a little, perfect cat. She is optimistic and charming, with the perfect touch of innocence. But deep down, there is a whirlwind of different personalities. Scorn can be very stubborn. When others contradict her or don't agree with what she's saying, she can be very rude and very sarcastic. Though she may not show it, Scorn is also very sensitive and often cries after a hard day. This weakness frightens her, and she tries to hide it.
Flirting is another part of Scorn. She is very charming and loveable. Often she finds herself attracted to toms, and she will do whatever she needs to to get what she wants. She doesn't show it right away, as she hates being rejected, but Scorn does like having crushes, and she will let you know if she likes you.
Scorn is a natural leader. Though some of her qualities are rather negative, such as the sarcasm and pessimistic outlook, but Scorn does have a natural feel for leading others. She is brave and very loyal, and fights fiercely for what she believes in. She is good at arguing, and often gets her way.
History
Scorn was born to two loners, Marla and Sire. Her mother, Marla, was horribly lazy and deserted Scorn and her father a few weeks after Scorn was born. Sire looked desperately for another mate who could raise his only kit.
A few moons after he started looking, he happened upon a disgustingly beautiful she-cat named Bellina. Bellina's soft white fur and bright blue eyes were very attractive, and for some reason, Sire fell for this alluring she-cat. They became mates, and Bellina brought her two daughters to live with Sire and Scorn.
Princess and Caralie were two, fat, ugly she-cats around Scorn's own age. They refused to hunt, and Scorn ended up doing all the work. She grew very bitter towards her step family, and when her father was killed in a fox battle, Bellina became even more horrible towards Scorn (if that was even possible).
One dark night, Scorn decided to run away. She left the warm cave that the four cat family had occupied, and hid in an abandoned tree trunk. The next morning, Scorn watched as her old family attempted to hunt food for themselves.
Scorn left that day. But because she felt guilty for leaving Bellina, Princess, and Caralie to starve, Scorn left several pieces of fresh-kill by the cave.
Scorn wandered. One day, she came across an assembly of cats gathered under the full moon. Scorn watched in awe as they talked and shared about some "Clan life". After the cats had departed, Scorn decided that she didn't want any part of a life where the cats were always in competition.
However, Scorn was rather pleased with the land and proceeded to explore it. She found a rundown old barn one night when she had no place to go. She was also surprised to find plenty of mice there. After her stomach was stuffed full, Scorn fell asleep in the soft hay.
The next morning, Scorn was surrounded by cats! She leaped to her feet and stood her ground, although she saw she was outnumbered. Scorn was ready to fight, despite the fact that most of the cats were hard core and obviously used to the street life outside of the "Clans".
A few snappy comments and icy glares later, Scorn was accepted as a loner. She met all of the cats, and was immediately respected because of her fierce nature, clever brains, and sassy attitude.
Nowadays, Scorn mostly wanders around the land, exploring to her heart's content. However, she often returns to the barn to gossip and trade stories with the other barn cats. She does not consider it a home, but likes the cats enough to even have become rather close with some of them.
Code Words
Hear me roar!
IC/RP Example
Scorn spun around, trying to pinpoint the sound. The rain pounded on the roof of the forest, droplets fell down and wet her fur. Her eyes were wet as well.
"Come out!" She shouted. "I am not afraid of you!" Her eyes darted around, trying to find the thing she was looking for. But what was she looking for?
"Oh yes, you are afraid, daughter," The voice held a touch of sarcasm, as though humored by her brave words. "And you cannot even compare to me!"
Scorn recognized the voice. Her yowl was drowned in the downpour of rain, falling from the heavens, but even the water could not drown out the voice that was stuck in her head.
The voice of her step-mother. And she was back to haunt Scorn for everything she had done.
